We're beyond excited to invite you to join our very own live video series: AzireVPN goes live! Don't worry if you've missed any of our past videos – you can find all our past (and upcoming) videos in one place on our official YouTube channel.

We started these livestreams to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what’s happening at AzireVPN as a privacy-focussed VPN service, as well as provide updates on our product development, and answer questions directly from our users.

First livestream – Announcing the referral challenge winners

We held the fist livestream back in May with an exciting announcement – the winners of the AzireVPN Referral Challenge! Darta (our marketing manager), George (our app developer), and Linus (co-creator and co-owner of AzireVPN) hosted the session. In addition to celebrating the winners, we dove deep into several key updates at the time:

New website: We launched a brand-new website earlier this summer. With a sleek new look, Azirevpn.com is now even more in alignment with our brand's story. On the website, you can find all our guides, documentation, server details, and more.

10G roadmap: 2024 is the year we have committed to upgrading all of our server locations to 10G. With the ultra-fast 10Gbps technology being the future and our relatively small server infrastructure, we are able to make this transition much faster than many other VPN companies our there. 60% of our servers have already been upgraded to 10G!

Q&A with the viewers: We answered a range of questions, from new features like the upcoming iOS on-demand to how we handle law enforcement requests.

Here are a few highlights:

• LAN access toggle: Yes, it’s coming soon to the app!

• Next server location: We haven’t decided yet, but we plan to let our users vote on this in our Matrix channel.

• iOS on demand: on-demand was released soon after this video went live.

Second livestream – Visiting Stockholm data center

Our second livestream took place in August, and this time we took things to the next level – with inviting you on a tour into one of our data centers in Stockholm, Kista! In this video, we showed you our server setup, including our driveless servers, showing you what it actually means to have no physical data storage. Hosted by the marketing manager Darta and app developer George, our second livestream was a unique opportunity to see where your VPN “lives” and get a sneak peek behind the scenes of a large data center in Stockholm.

In this livestream, we covered:

A tour of our data center: We walked through the physical server racks and explained what makes the AzireVPN setup unique.

Product updates & news: We shared all the latest updates we've been working on: upgrading our server network to 10G, our upcoming new server location in Malmö, Sweden, and new features like Private zones and DNS blocklists.

Viewer Q&A: As always, we also answered the questions from the viewers live.

Here's a few highlights:

• Linux client: Yes, it's coming after the new Windows app is finished.

• Quantum encryption: It's in our roadmap for Q1 2025 with the next version of our WireGuard backend.

• WireGuard pre-shared keys: They are also planned to be implemented in Q1 2025 with the next version of our WireGuard backend.
