¡Hola, Santiago! We’ve expanded our network once again – this time to the capital of Chile. If good things come in threes, then our latest South American launch is no exception. Santiago marks our third location in South America – following Buenos Aires (launched in March 2024) and Bogotá (earlier this year).

The ISP for the Santiago location is Datapacket, while the hardware is physically located at the Cirion Santiago de Chile - SAN1 facility. With each of the two servers being 10G, the total capacity of this location is 20G. You can find more details and live stats on this new location on our server page.

Why Santiago?

As you might’ve noticed, AzireVPN’s list of locations has been growing quickly this year — we’re going through a phase of rapid expansion right now. On top of that, we’ve been getting more and more requests for servers specifically in South America — and we heard you!

Santiago, the capital and largest city of Chile and one of the biggest cities in the Americas, is a great addition. It helps us boost speeds and reduce latency across the South American region, while continuing to grow AzireVPN’s global, privacy-first server network.

These servers run without persistent storage, are booted via PXE, and are maintained remotely. The Santiago location supports WireGuard VPN tunnels with shared IP addresses and is available on all our apps already today.
