Port Forwarding status update – server reboots, API changes, and what to do now

We want to share an update regarding the port forwarding issues currently affecting some of our servers.

What happened?

We recently deployed an update to support new features we're working on. Unfortunately, changes to the encryption system also caused port forwarding to stop working on some servers.

What we're doing to fix it

To fully restore port forwarding across all locations, we need to reboot our servers so the new encryption changes are correctly applied.

Since server reboots cause brief downtime, we're restarting locations gradually rather than all at once to minimize disruption.

Current status

Port forwarding is currently working on the following locations:

    • Stockholm
    • Gothenburg
    • Malmö
    • Amsterdam
    • London

We'll continue restoring the remaining locations over the coming days.

Some API requests may not work reliably during this rollout. For now, we recommend managing your port forwarding through the management panel:

Important: Create a new port while connected

If you're setting up port forwarding during this period, please note:

    • You must be connected to the server location where you want to create the port.
    • Create a new port while that connection is active.

In other words: connect first, then create the port for that same location.

API update: /check endpoint

If you're using the port forwarding API, please note that the /check endpoint has changed.

Previous format (no longer supported):

Please note that some API requests may still be unstable while the rollout is in progress, so we recommend using the management panel whenever possible.

Expected timeline

We expect port forwarding to be available across all locations by the end of the week. Thank you for your patience while we complete the remaining server restarts and monitor service stability.
