Heads up! Time to update your AzireVPN iOS and macOS apps
We’re making some behind-the-scenes changes to how AzireVPN apps are managed – and we want to keep you in the loop.
As part of our migration to Malwarebytes-managed accounts for Google and Apple platforms, we’re moving both our iOS and macOS apps under Malwarebytes’ ownership.
Because of the way the apps were originally built (privacy-first, as always), we can’t transfer them automatically like we did with some of our other platforms. This means that both the iOS and macOS apps will be temporarily unavailable in the App Store starting today, while we work on getting the new versions approved under the Malwarebytes developer account.
Unfortunately, there might be a few days of downtime where the apps aren’t available to download. We’re working to minimize this window as much as possible – and we’ll keep you updated.

What this means for you:
- Both the iOS and macOS AzireVPN apps will temporarily be unavailable in the App Store starting Monday, June 30, while we transition them to the Malwarebytes developer account
- Once the new apps are live, you’ll need to manually download them from the App Store
- To avoid confusion, we recommend uninstalling the old app before installing the new one
- The current (old) apps will no longer receive updates and will be decommissioned
- ❗ This update is required – all future improvements, bug fixes, and security updates will only happen in the new versions
Once the apps are approved, we’ll update our apps page with direct download links. We’re also looking into offering TestFlight access during the transition to help cover the gap – so stay tuned for more details!

We know this extra step is a bit of a hassle, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. But this move allows us to keep things running smoothly and continue building a great VPN experience, with the same privacy commitment you’ve always known us for.
Thanks for sticking with us – and for being part of the AzireVPN community!
